NOAD Schema 4.1 and Workbook 8.2 -- 60 Day Notice

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance maritime domain awareness, we continue to improve the handling of essential data contained within Notices of Arrival and Departure (NOAD). On Wednesday, 21 May 2026, a new schema (4.1) and workbook (8.2) will be released. This updated schema and workbook will include an increase of maximum allowable digits for Vessel Response Plan (VRP) Number from five (5) to seven (7) digits. NOTE: Five-digit VRP numbers will still be accepted, and the update will allow for the acceptance of 5-, 6-, or 7- digit VRP numbers.

Additionally, the current schema 4.0 and workbooks 8.0 and 8.1 will continue to be accepted following this release.
