33 CFR 160 Compliance for Schema 3.4 Submitters

The NVMC is scheduled to release on May 26, 2015, schema version 3.5, which will accommodate all new informational items published in the new 33 CFR 160 Final Rule (Vessel Requirements for Notices of Arrival and Departure, and Automatic Identification System). Users of schema version 3.4 products may provide MMSI, vessel tonnage, and voyage less than 24 hour information in the comment box of their NOAD submission:

• Less Than 300 Gross Tons: Yes or No
• Less Than 24-Hour Voyage: Yes or No
• MMSI Number, if applicable per your vessel reporting requirements.
