Does the NVMC clear or authorize vessels to enter a Port?
No. The NVMC is a submission processing center and cannot act on behalf of the local USCG Command with regard to permissions to enter the port.
To whom should questions regarding port entry and clearance be directed to?
Questions regarding port entry and clearance should be directed to the cognizant local Captain of the Port.
